Terms of Use

Last updated: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of HttpKit (the “App”), a native iPhone REST API and WebSocket client developed by Pinak Faldu (“Developer,” “we,” or “us”).

By downloading, installing, or using HttpKit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

HttpKit lets you build, send, and debug HTTP and WebSocket requests on your device. Features include a request builder, authentication helpers (including Basic, Bearer, API Key, AWS SigV4, JWT Bearer, and OAuth 1.0a), environments and variables, collections and folders, history, and a response viewer.

HttpKit is designed to operate on-device. It does not require an account with us and does not provide Developer-operated cloud sync of your workspace.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use HttpKit on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Use and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (or any custom EULA we publish).

You may not:

  1. Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App (except as allowed by law)
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where prohibited restrictions are not permitted by applicable law
  3. Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the App
  4. Remove proprietary notices
  5. Use the App to violate any law or third-party rights

3. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  1. The endpoints, payloads, headers, and credentials you configure and send
  2. Complying with laws and third-party terms when testing APIs or WebSockets
  3. Safeguarding secrets, tokens, and Keychain-stored values on your device
  4. Not using HttpKit to attack, probe without authorization, or abuse systems you do not have permission to access

HttpKit is a developer tool. Sending requests to systems you are not authorized to use may be illegal. We are not liable for misuse.

4. Premium Features and Purchases

Some features may require a subscription or one-time purchase (“Premium”).

Current pricing (may change in the App Store; the App Store listing controls at purchase time):

  • $4.99 weekly subscription
  • $19.99 yearly subscription
  • $49.99 lifetime (one-time purchase, no recurring billing)
  • No free trial

Billing

  • Payments are charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions), not inside a Developer billing portal.
  • Lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase and does not recur.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies. We do not process card charges directly.

5. Privacy

Your use of HttpKit is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: workspace data stays on your device; we do not run a cloud sync service for your requests; network calls go to destinations you choose.

6. No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results from API calls will meet your requirements. Optional settings (such as disabling SSL verification) may reduce security for those connections.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP — INCLUDING DAMAGES CAUSED BY REQUESTS YOU SEND TO THIRD-PARTY SERVERS OR BY CREDENTIALS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR PREMIUM ACCESS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ZERO IF YOU ONLY USE FREE FUNCTIONALITY).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

8. Apple-Specific Terms

You acknowledge that:

  1. These Terms are between you and the Developer, not Apple.
  2. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  3. In the event of a failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any) to the maximum extent permitted; Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  4. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App or your possession/use of it, including product liability, legal/regulatory claims, or consumer protection claims.
  5. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms or the App at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or stop offering the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Surviving sections include those that by nature should survive (license restrictions, disclaimers, liability limits, and Apple terms).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Developer’s jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.

11. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact the Developer through the App Store listing for HttpKit (Support / Developer contact), or use the contact method published with the App’s App Store listing for Pinak Faldu.
